This is my first LCD tv. I spent a lot of time looking at them in stores, reading reviews & finally decided that Samsung would provide me the best value for my money. I purchased this 26" for my bedroom & it's the perfect size. I was a dinky nervous setting it up but it was so simple. From attaching the stand, hooking it up & setting up the menu options. The narrate is fabulous! The colors are amazing, the blacks are not washed out at all but appear rich & black. There are a number of setting options to finish the perfect describe for you, including adjusting the backlight. The sound is superior, for a bedroom tv I'm not looking for a movie theater experience & quite frankly, I wouldn't request tv speakers to ever give me that. I would inquire to rob separate speakers. The sound is objective as favorable, if not better, then any past tv I have owned. I have a computer desk off to the side & often look over at the tv and can understanding the cloak fair elegant from side angles. There's also a sleep timer for turning both off & on. I've watched everything from movies to sports to regular shows. Also, for anyone nervous about getting this tv without HD, it's looks unbelievable even without the HD! There are tons of connections on this model too, including 3 HDMI (2 in the attend & one on the side) . There is a PC connection too but I haven't tried that or the game mode. I can't collect a single negative thing to say & as a plus, the tv itself has a very classy tantalizing appearance. Very, very glad!

I unbiased bought this TV for my bedroom. It is the perfect TV for that. It isn't too gargantuan that it overpowers the room, and isn't too cramped either. I know some people complain about the audio. I judge it sounds impartial glorious. I wouldn't have even plan about it. Like I said, it is in my bedroom and not meant to be a home theater TV. If you were looking for a home theater TV, score something bigger, and secure external sound.

I have FIOS HD TV crooked up and an upconverting DVD player via HDMI ports. The relate looks vast good out of the box. I location it to "movie" setting since I leave the room darker. The "dynamic" setting is too intellectual, but might be ok in a very incandescent room. The "standard" report is attractive. I highly recommend this TV if you are using the HDMI inputs. The record leaves something to be desired if you are using the coax input or RCA inputs. Quite honestly, stick to a respectable frail fashioned CRT if you are using analogue connections.

I compared this TV to several others, I couldn't whine the disagreement in recount quality between it and ones priced up to $300 more. I don't believe 1080P is worth the extra money for a 26" TV. Watching quickly action like a hockey game, there can be some motion issues, but since it is only a 60 Hz TV, that is expected. The 120 Hz would explain a miniature improvement, but it isn't terrible enough of a distraction to bother me. A lot of people wouldn't even gaze, but some would. Again, it is minor.

I'm very glad with the relate quality in general, as long as it is a digital input, and especially high def. The colors are suitable and the blacks are nice and dusky. Shadowy scenes do not pick up blurred together, you can sight the dissimilarity in dim levels easily.

If you are looking to expend less than $500 or even $600 for a TV, and you are using digital connections, this is the TV for you.

By the procedure, Best Remove sells this for $400. Not clear why everyone else has it for more.

The record is sizable and the color is amazing but the sound quality is very annoying. It is very tinny sounding. You would contemplate Samsung would have provided better speakers. I have a 32 slip Samsung that we have in the bedroom and the sound is dazzling. We exhaust this one in the kitchen/livingroom position and it is watched most of the day by my 3 yr traditional. The sound ends up driving me nuts after awhile (especially when passe with vcr/dvd) . I should have bought another 32" even though it was too colossal for the location... As for recommending, I would with concessions. It may be okay in smaller rooms where volume doesn't have to be turned up very loud, or in areas with less spend. My cheap stale smaller tv that this is replacing had plan better sound.
